Bitget Fees (October 2026): Spot and Futures Trading Fees, VIP Tiers and How to Pay Less

Updated October 2026 · ~4 min read

Bitget's standard fees are 0.10% maker and 0.10% taker on spot and 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker on perpetual futures, and a fee rebate returns part of every eligible fee you pay, so what you actually pay ends up below the list rate. Below are the rates, the 20% BGB discount, Bitget's VIP taker tiers, a worked example at $1,000,000 and $10,000,000 of monthly futures volume, and how to pay less.

Bitget fees at a glance

These are Bitget's standard (VIP 0) rates from bitget.com/fee, checked on 12 October 2026. On spot, makers and takers pay the same 0.10%. On perpetual futures, a maker pays 0.02% and a taker 0.06%. Bitget also gives a 20% fee discount when you pay fees in BGB, its own token: on the 0.10% spot rate, that is 0.08%. Fees are charged on the full notional of each fill.

Bitget VIP fee tiers (taker)

Bitget lowers taker fees as 30-day trading volume rises. The table shows the taker rate at each level from Bitget's public fee page, checked on 12 October 2026. On futures, VIP 1 (from $5M) keeps the 0.060% taker rate, and the first cut comes at VIP 2 (from $10M). On spot, the ladder starts at $0.5M. VIP status can also come from assets held, rates can vary by region, and your own fee page is final.

What $1M and $10M of futures volume cost

Take a trader whose futures volume is all taker orders, and treat monthly volume as 30-day volume; the BGB discount is left out. Both volumes fall in Rebatly's Standard tier for Bitget (below $50M a month), which returns 40% of the eligible fees you pay.

$1,000,000 a month. This is below the $5M VIP 1 threshold, so the standard 0.06% applies: $1,000,000 × 0.06% = $600 in fees. The rebate is 40% × $600 = $240, so the net fee is $600 − $240 = $360, an effective rate of 0.036%.

$10,000,000 a month. At the standard rate, $10,000,000 × 0.06% = $6,000; 40% back is $2,400, leaving $3,600. Once your 30-day volume reaches $10M, VIP 2 applies: $10,000,000 × 0.040% = $4,000 in fees, 40% × $4,000 = $1,600 back and $2,400 net, an effective 0.024%. Rebatly's Bitget rebate rises to 45% from $50M and 50% from $150M of monthly volume.

How to pay less on Bitget

Use maker orders on futures. A maker fill costs 0.02% against 0.06% for a taker. On spot both pay 0.10%.

Pay fees in BGB. Bitget takes 20% off fees paid in BGB, which turns the 0.10% spot rate into 0.08%. Check on your own fee page which of your trades it covers.

Climb the VIP ladder. The futures taker fee drops from 0.060% to 0.040% at $10M of 30-day volume; the spot taker fee starts dropping at $0.5M.

Get a fee rebate. Sign up with the code REBATLY and Rebatly returns up to 50% of your eligible Bitget fees on spot and futures, tiered by monthly volume: 40% below $50M, 45% from $50M and 50% from $150M. It is paid daily, usually the next day between 04:00 and 12:00 UTC, in USDT by internal transfer to your Bitget UID, with a 1 USDT minimum. The rebate is a share of the fees you actually paid, so a lower fee rate also means a smaller rebate. Setup is in the Bitget referral code guide, and you can put your own volume through the Bitget fee calculator.

FAQ

What are Bitget's trading fees?

At the standard VIP 0 level, Bitget charges 0.10% maker and 0.10% taker on spot, and 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker on perpetual futures (bitget.com/fee, checked 12 October 2026). Paying fees in BGB takes 20% off.

Does Bitget charge maker fees?

Yes. Makers pay 0.10% on spot, the same as takers, and 0.02% on perpetual futures, against 0.06% for takers.

Does paying in BGB lower Bitget fees?

Yes. Bitget gives a 20% fee discount when you pay fees in BGB, so the 0.10% spot rate becomes 0.08%. Check your own fee page for which trades it covers.

How do I lower my Bitget fees?

Use maker orders on futures (0.02% instead of 0.06%), pay fees in BGB for 20% off, climb Bitget's VIP tiers through 30-day volume, and add a fee rebate. Rebatly returns up to 50% of the eligible fees you pay, tiered by monthly volume and paid daily in USDT.

Is there a Bitget fee discount code?

Bitget's own rates do not change with a referral code, but if you sign up with REBATLY, Rebatly pays you back up to 50% of the eligible fees you pay, daily in USDT. Zero-fee trades and trades at special fee rates earn no commission under Bitget's policy, so they earn no rebate.
