Bitget Welcome Bonus (October 2026): What the 6,200 USDT Really Costs

Updated October 2026 · ~6 min read

Bitget's Rewards Center opens with "Get up to 6,200 USDT in new user rewards". That figure is real, and it is also the most expensive bonus you will ever be offered: the 6,000 USDT top tier asks for 80,000,000 USDT of futures volume, which costs between 16,000 and 48,000 USDT in trading fees at Bitget's standard rates. Below are the tiers exactly as Bitget shows them, read from the live Rewards Center on 7 October 2026, what each one costs to reach, what the reward actually is, and the one tier where the arithmetic works.

The short answer

The 6,200 USDT is two things added together: a 200 USDT BTC futures position voucher for checking in on three days, and the 6,000 USDT top tier of a deposit-and-trading challenge. The challenge has three tiers, 50, 400 and 6,000 USDT, and each one requires a net deposit, a spot volume and a futures volume.

The futures volume is the part that matters, because you pay a fee on every dollar of it. Reaching the 50 USDT tier takes 300,000 USDT of futures volume: 60 to 180 USDT in fees at Bitget's standard 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker rates. The 6,000 USDT tier takes 80,000,000 USDT: 16,000 to 48,000 USDT in fees. Without a rebate, no tier pays for the trading it demands; the closest is the 400 USDT tier, which ends 10 USDT short even if every single order is a maker order.

So treat the welcome bonus as a small discount on trading you were going to do anyway, never as a reason to trade. If you would trade 2,000,000 USDT of futures in your first week regardless, the 400 USDT tier is worth collecting. If you would not, the bonus costs more than it pays.

The ladder, exactly as Bitget shows it

These are the three tiers of the "Deposit & trading challenge", read from Bitget's live Rewards Center (bitget.com/events/rewards) on 7 October 2026, logged out. All three tasks of a tier must be completed to receive it. The higher tiers show as locked until the one below is done, and the page states that "Promotion rewards can't be combined with the benefits of the VIP trial pass."

Bitget's Rewards Center help article describes the tasks as deposits and trading within 7 days of registration, so the futures volume below has to be traded inside your first week. Thresholds change between campaigns: log in and check your own task card before you plan around any number on this page.

RewardNet depositSpot volumeFutures volume

400 USDT≥ 20,000 USDT≥ 10,000 USDT≥ 2,000,000 USDT
6,000 USDT≥ 100,000 USDT≥ 100,000 USDT≥ 80,000,000 USDT

What it costs to climb each tier

A trading fee is charged on the full notional of every fill, so the volume a tier demands converts straight into fees. The table uses Bitget's standard rates: 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker on USDT-M futures, and 0.1% on spot either way. "All maker" means every order rested on the book; "all taker" means every order filled immediately, which is closer to how most people trade. The fee is what you pay Bitget to generate the volume; the last two columns subtract it from the reward.

Every tier loses money without a rebate. The 400 USDT tier comes closest: 410 USDT of fees for a 400 USDT reward when every fill is a maker fill, a 10 USDT loss. Real trading lands somewhere between the two columns, and usually nearer the taker side, because stops and exits fill at market. If you want to see how your own maker share moves the number, the maker vs taker guide explains how to get maker fills reliably.

What the reward actually is

None of it is cash in your wallet. Bitget's Rewards Center help article says the rewards arrive as coupons and vouchers in the Coupons Center, and that they are tied to your account and cannot be transferred. The 200 USDT welcome pack is named on the live page as a "BTC USDT-M Futures position boost voucher": margin for a BTC futures position, not a balance you can withdraw.

Bitget's Trading Bonus help article sets the rules for this kind of reward. The bonus itself is non-withdrawable and non-transferable; "any profit made from trades using the bonus is fully withdrawable"; losses on those trades come out of the bonus first; each bonus has an expiry date shown in the Coupons Center; and "transferring assets from your futures account to your spot account will invalidate the trading bonus." That last rule is the one people trip on: moving funds out of futures while a bonus is live cancels it.

Both help articles were last updated on 23 January 2025. The reward form has not changed since across Bitget's 2026 campaigns, but the live Coupons Center is the authority on any reward you actually hold.

The 200 USDT welcome pack

This is the cheapest part of the 6,200 to collect. On the live page it is unlocked by checking in on three days, not by depositing or trading. What you receive is a 200 USDT BTC USDT-M futures position voucher: it lets you open a BTC futures position sized partly with Bitget's money, and you keep the profit if it closes in profit, under the rules above.

Two caveats. A position voucher is still a leveraged futures position, and nothing in this guide is a suggestion to open one. And the 200 USDT is the notional the voucher supports, not money you can take away: if the position loses, the loss comes out of the voucher, and when the voucher is used up or expires, it is gone.

Where a fee rebate changes the sums

A fee rebate returns part of the trading fees you actually paid, and it stacks with whatever you collect from the Rewards Center because it is paid separately, from Rebatly's affiliate commission. On Bitget, Rebatly's rebate is up to 40%, tiered by monthly trading volume: 30% below 50,000,000 USDT a month, 35% from 50,000,000 and 40% from 150,000,000.

The first two tiers sit in the 30% band, and the 80,000,000 USDT the top tier demands lands in the 35% band. With the rebate taken off the fees, the 50 and 400 USDT tiers turn positive for a maker-heavy trader, and the 6,000 USDT tier still loses heavily however you trade.

The honest reading is the same as before. If you were going to trade this volume anyway, the voucher is a small discount and the rebate is a bigger one, and the two add up. If you would not, no combination of them makes it sensible to trade for the bonus.

Before you sign up

Eligibility. The Rewards Center is for new users. Bitget's help article excludes sub-accounts, institutional accounts and API traders. Identity verification is needed to deposit and trade, so expect to complete KYC before any task counts.

Availability. Bitget is not available everywhere. Its own site states that its services are not intended for individuals residing in the Republic of Singapore, for example. Check that Bitget serves your country before you register.

Deadlines. Tasks run on a clock from registration, and Bitget's help article describes a 3-day monitoring period after a promotion ends, followed by two days to claim the reward manually in the Rewards Center. Unclaimed rewards lapse.

One code, one chance. A referral code can only be attached when the account is created. If you want both the welcome rewards and a permanent fee rebate, register a new account with the code REBATLY. The welcome rewards are a one-off; the rebate applies to every trade from the first one.

Fees are the input you control

A welcome bonus pays once, within a week, and only if you trade enough to cost more than it pays. A fee rebate pays on every trade for as long as you keep the account. Sign up with the code REBATLY on a new Bitget, Bybit or OKX account, and Rebatly, a registered affiliate of all three, shares its commission with you as a rebate of up to 40% on Bitget and OKX and up to 50% on Bybit, tiered by monthly trading volume.

Rebates are calculated daily on the trading fees you actually paid and sent the next day in USDT by internal transfer into your own exchange account, usually between 04:00 and 12:00 UTC. The minimum payout is 1 USDT and smaller days carry over. Rebatly only ever sees your public exchange UID: no API keys, no passwords, no custody, no deposits. Check your rebate in the Telegram bot t.me/rebatlybot; support is at t.me/rebatly and hello@rebatly.io.

To put your own volume through the numbers, use the Bitget fee calculator; for the referral side on its own, see the Bitget referral code guide, and the rest of the library is in the guides index.

Rebatly is an independent affiliate funded from its commission; not financial advice.

FAQ

Is the Bitget 6,200 USDT welcome bonus real?

Yes, but it is a ceiling, not a sign-up gift. It is a 200 USDT BTC futures position voucher for checking in on three days, plus the 6,000 USDT top tier of a deposit-and-trading challenge that requires a 100,000 USDT net deposit, 100,000 USDT of spot volume and 80,000,000 USDT of futures volume. At Bitget's standard rates that futures volume costs 16,000 to 48,000 USDT in fees.

Can I withdraw the Bitget welcome bonus?

No. Bitget's help articles describe the rewards as coupons and vouchers credited to the Coupons Center, tied to your account, non-withdrawable and non-transferable. Profit made from trades using a bonus is withdrawable. Transferring assets from your futures account to your spot account invalidates a trading bonus, and each bonus expires on the date shown in the Coupons Center.

How much do I need to trade for the first Bitget reward?

The 50 USDT tier on the live Rewards Center requires a net deposit of at least 1,000 USDT, at least 100 USDT of spot volume and at least 300,000 USDT of futures volume, within the task window that starts at registration. At Bitget's standard 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker rates, the futures volume alone costs 60 to 180 USDT in fees.

Does a fee rebate stack with the Bitget welcome bonus?

Rebatly's rebate is paid separately, from Rebatly's affiliate commission, by internal transfer to your own account, so it does not depend on the Rewards Center. Whether a particular Bitget promotion is open to your account is set by Bitget's own campaign terms. With a 30% rebate, the 50 and 400 USDT tiers turn positive for a maker-heavy trader; the 6,000 USDT tier stays heavily negative.

How long do I have to complete the tasks?

Bitget's Rewards Center help article describes deposit and trading tasks within 7 days of registration, then a 3-day monitoring period after the promotion ends and two days to claim the reward manually. Unclaimed rewards lapse. Your own task card shows the exact deadline once you are logged in.
