How OKX's trading fees work

OKX charges a maker fee when your order adds liquidity and a taker fee when it removes it. For standard accounts, spot is 0.08% maker / 0.10% taker and perpetual futures are 0.02% maker / 0.05% taker — the lowest base taker fee of the major exchanges. Most active traders are net-takers, so the calculator defaults to 100% taker; drag toward maker if you mostly post limit orders.

How the rebate cuts your real cost

Through Rebatly you earn back a percentage of every OKX fee — 30% at standard, 35% above $50M and 40% above $150M monthly volume — paid in USDT each month. The 'effective fee after rebate' above is your true cost once the cashback arrives. At a 40% rebate, OKX's 0.05% futures taker fee effectively becomes 0.03%.

OKX's edge: low base fees

OKX already has the lowest base perpetual taker fee of the three exchanges we cover, which makes the post-rebate number especially competitive for high-frequency traders. Pair the low fee with the rebate and your effective cost is hard to beat. Compare all three in our fee guides.

FAQ

Are these the real OKX fees?

Yes — OKX's standard schedule verified June 2026: spot 0.08% maker / 0.10% taker, futures 0.02% maker / 0.05% taker. EEA users and some regions have a different schedule; the rebate applies to whatever you actually pay.

How much of my fees can I get back?

Up to 40% on OKX through Rebatly: 30% standard, 35% from $50M monthly volume, 40% from $150M — paid monthly in USDT. Sign up with code REBATLY to activate it.

Does the rebate apply to maker and taker fees?

Yes — all trading fees you pay generate a rebate at their respective rates. Set your maker/taker mix with the slider above.

Do I need a new account?

Yes — OKX binds the referral at signup only and cannot add it later, so the rebate requires a new account through the referral link.

Why are OKX's fees lower than Bybit's?

OKX's base perpetual taker fee (0.05%) is slightly below Bybit's (0.055%). Bybit's rebate ceiling is higher (50% vs 40%), so the cheapest post-rebate venue depends on your volume — the calculator lets you check both.
