How OrangeX's trading fees work

OrangeX charges a maker fee when your order adds liquidity and a taker fee when it removes it. On perpetual futures the standard rates are 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker. On spot most pairs are 0.1% for both, but BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, TRX and USDC against USDT charge 0%. Most active traders are net takers, so the calculator starts at 100% taker; move the slider toward maker if you mostly post limit orders.

How the rebate cuts your real cost

Through Rebatly you get back a share of every OrangeX fee you pay: on futures 55% at the standard tier, 60% above $50M and 65% above $150M of monthly volume; on spot 30%, 35% and 40%. It is paid in USDT daily. At the 55% futures tier, OrangeX's 0.06% taker fee effectively becomes 0.027%.

Compare the fee you pay, not the percentage

A higher rebate percentage on a higher fee is not automatically cheaper. On $1,000,000 of futures taker volume OrangeX's 0.06% is about $600 in fees and about $330 back at 55%, so you pay about $270. Compare that net cost with the other exchanges in the rebate comparison.

FAQ

Are these the real OrangeX fees?

Yes. OrangeX's public API on 21 October 2026 showed perpetual futures at 0.02% maker / 0.06% taker on almost every contract, and spot at 0.1% maker / 0.1% taker, with 0% on BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, TRX and USDC against USDT. Rates can change, so check your own trade history.

How much of my fees can I get back?

On OrangeX through Rebatly: futures 55% standard, 60% from $50M of monthly volume and 65% from $150M; spot 30%, 35% and 40%. Paid daily in USDT. Sign up with the code rebatly to activate it.

Does the rebate apply to maker orders?

Yes, to any fee you actually pay. OrangeX charges a 0.02% maker fee on futures, so maker orders earn a rebate there; spot pairs with a 0% fee earn none.

Do I need a new account?

Yes. OrangeX binds the referral when the account is created, and referring users who already have an account breaks its affiliate rules. Don't open a second account if you already have one: exchanges allow one account per person.
